Originally, I had contacted Karl about a Caribbean cruise because everyone seems to be doing them. I found Karl to be very helpful in my travel planning. I have always wanted to visit the area where my dad fought in WWII. I have been to Europe and seen where many of the battles took place on that continent. But I had not yet seen the area where much of the fighting in the Pacific Theater took place. I asked Karl if he could arrange a tour for me to see this area. Karl listened to my thoughts and desires and set me up on a beautiful cruise of Southeast Asia. So, I visited Manila, Luzon, and even got over toward Japan. As sort of a bonus, the cruise included visits to Viet Nam so I got to see where my uncles and cousins fought. It was interesting to see not only the terrain, but also experience the heat and humidity that they had to endure. The cruise was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend Karl to anyone who wants to take a cruise.

I was talking with a coworker last week. We both went on a cruise-tour in Alaska this summer. I booked through Karl. My coworker booked with one of those online travel sites. My coworker traveled on one of those big ships with waterslides. They spent a few hours in a couple of ports in the Inside Passage, arrived in Seward, got on a bus, spent a night in Anchorage, got back on the bus the next day and rode up to Fairbanks. They spent two nights in Fairbanks and then flew back home. Karl told me that my family could take one of those less expensive cruise-tours so that we could say that we had visited Alaska. Or, we could let him arrange a tour for us. We got to meet with native Alaskans, learn about the Athabascan people including their traditions, dances, and totem poles; learn about the Gold Rush and rode the Great Pass train; saw glaciers, whales, eagles, moose, and bears; stayed two nights at Mt. McKinley and two nights at Denali; saw a Gold Dredge, and learned culture in Fairbanks.

I was really impressed working with Karl. I set up an appointment. He called me and we talked. Karl listened to what I said. I told him that I wanted a nice, relaxing cruise. I did not want to endure long lines waiting to do things. I did not want to have to encounter crowds everywhere I went. I did not want to have to stand in line for over an hour waiting to get back on the ship in the ports. I did not want to have to put up with a bunch of noisy, unruly kids running wild on the ship. Karl is a travel advisor, not just a booking agent. So, he does more than just book someone's cruise. He recommended a very relaxing cruise on a ship that had only about 1200 passengers. The itinerary was excellent as we got to see places we otherwise would not have seen. The passenger to crew ratio was excellent. Many things were included in the cruise fare. I can't imagine a better cruise for the price. And, I certainly will book my next cruise with Karl. He knows what he is doing.

 Karl is a dedicated, certified travel agent. He works diligently to assure that his clients receive the best value money can buy. He made suggestions for me not only about which cruise to book, then booking the cruise and also provided some information on the ports that each cruise would visit, helping me decide where to go. (Did you know that while the northern U.S. is suffering cold winter, SE Asia is warm even though it is north of the equator?) He is patient and understands my reservations about reserving something well in advance of the travel date. He reassures, guides and directs me as I plan my travel. In an age when there are hundreds of options, he suggests the option that would best suit my needs. For example, I find it difficult to climb into a bathtub, so he suggested a cabin that has a shower or even a cruise line that offers showers. I will continue to book with him - he knows cruising since he has cruised various times and is well acquainted with the industry.
